Buildings as Magic

I have always been facinated with how buildings go together. This unit attempts to teach us as Architecture students, some basic yet important elements of building construction and hopefully along the way may inspire us with new ideas and concepts for the creation of built form. If you, like me, believe that the construction of the built form is the greatest of the arts and that the act of crafting a building or element of such is as natural and medicinal as the desire to form music or to paint. Then you may enjoy reading this blog, learning as I am, a few basics about construction and perhaps through some examples of great buildings also be awed and inspired.
